    Our next step was clearly to find a new company that was willing to accept us as clients and have better customer service. The only problem is that in November I noticed that I had been billed for the month of November and October (32 euro a piece). I couldn't believe my eyes. The same company that referred to their once loyal customers as "high risk" and who would not allow us to continue with their company was now stealing money from my account.

    When I realized that this money had been taken from my account I immediately went into the store to ask for questions. Ana Vidal was not in the store and the other employee was hardly willing to help me. She said I needed more information for her to make any sort of phone call because I didn't have my original contract with me.

    It began in Winter of 2016 when I first began my service with Vodafone. In July of 2017 and temporarily (3 months) cancelled my service plan. In 3 months they would begin to charge my account again.

    It's a pity these workers are so lackadaisical and unenthusiastic about their jobs. Don't waste your time at this store save the stress.

    Upon returning to the store and my friend isn't there. So I begin to explain the new woman the drawn out, god-awful story. She also can't understand how a bill can be arriving if I have had my service cancelled. So she checks the system's database for my name but coincidentally, my information is nowhere to be found. Okay that is strange but...oh wait guess who show up to save the day? You guessed it! Ana B.

    Eventually she told us that since we had "cancelled" our previous plan Vodafone was no longer willing to keep us as clients. We were considered "high risk" and there was no possibility to continue to have service with them. Okay, now this is getting weird, and we were undoubtedly getting frustrated.

    I explain to her that I have been getting billed and then she proceeds to tell me that it was because I hadn't explained myself correctly, then changes the story several times trying to save her own behind. Eventually she tells me that she knew the entire time that I had the other account still active and that I would be charged. What she did was try to open a new account with my name and that is why I couldn't be processed. She confessed her guilt and tried to claim that it was my fault for not knowing that I could not do a change of address at their store. She could have avoided this entire situation by showing a little kindness and walking us through the process. Instead she mocked me and lied to my face so she wouldn't have to take the blow.

    Upon returning to Spain (in a different city) in October we entered this store and explained our situation to a representative, who will we call Ana Vidal. We explained to her that we had moved from another part of Spain and would like to have our service back. She then proceeded to start a completely new contract with us, and asking again for a plethora of new documents. We were patient and the process set us back another few weeks.

    So here we are two weeks later and something very unexpected happens. I check my bank statement and there is another bill from Vodafone. Please God, tell me my eyes are deceiving me. Unfortunately the answer was no. I then proceeded to attempt to access my Vodafone account online but, hmm, that's strange, I can't sign in. Okay, that's enough, I'm going back to the store to have a little chat with my old buddy.

    I was given the number for customer service and left on my own with the cold world of outsourced telephone operators. I was transferred several times after explaining my situation and eventually managed to completely, or so I had though, cancel my service and end this Vodafone nightmare. The service agent asked me at least 10 times if I wanted to continue my service and I gave her the clearest NO that I knew how. When I asked her how to get my money back for the two months of service that I never received it seemed to go in one ear and out the other. She gave me a very ambiguous answer and told me that it would take weeks to process.
