Surprising find in the middle of the city. Very well presented and interesting. Can get very hot so worth taking water. There is also a walk ( with loads of stairs) around the back of the museum that is worth doing for the views.

It was a short visit, under an hour.

Fantastic museum. Don't miss the film that explains what was built, how it got lost and how it was found again. It's in a room on the left as you enter the museum, but isn't signposted. I heard it, went into the theatre and was the only one there. It was in English when I came across it, but presumably it also runs in Spanish, at least. Then you go through various exhibits, through a tunnela under the old cathedral, before emerging half way up the actual theatre.

Visited with my family. Kids aged 13, 11 and 9. The theatre is interesting, not too expensive and good for a short visit. We enjoyed taking photos, running up and down the stairs and exploring.

Great find off the beaten track and you can walk up to the "Castle" too...... Although the view is better than the castle itself.

This was an neat site to see. I love ancient history so this stuff excites me when I see it. Romans influence all the way in Spain. If you like history you will find this interesting.
